By on March 11, 2021 0

Many of you are probably familiar with the so-called “big four” wireless service providers Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. Many people can assume that this is almost all when it comes to choosing a carrier in the US. It couldn’t be further from the truth.

Most of the top operators offer their own prepaid services with different calling plans, phone selection and support. Let’s have a look AT&T prepayment.

About AT&T Prepaid

Once known as GoPhone, AT&T Prepaid operates in the United States on the same network as its first brand and mostly provides almost identical range. One of the key differences is that pockets of states like Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska have no third party insurance.

AT&T Prepaid features include no annual contract, no credit check, and easy activation.

What are AT&T Prepaid plans?

AT&T Prepaid’s calling plans allow subscribers to work month-to-month without long term contract or cancellation fees. Moreover, it does not charge you to view the allocated data; you get “limited” 2G speeds on your data for the remainder of your billing cycle.

  • $ 40 / month: Unlimited calls and text messages with 8GB of high-speed data
  • $ 55 / month: Unlimited calls and text messages with unlimited data rates

It makes much more sense to go for the cheaper plan as you get a lot more for your money. The main catch, however, is that it is only for new customers.

Here’s what’s particularly different between the two:

There are other features available for different plans, including unlimited calls and texts to Mexico and Canada, or using Mexico and Canada. People on the 2 GB or 8 GB plans who will not use the allocated amount will be able to transfer it to the next month.
